Magpul has made a name for itself by creating ergonomic and affordable accessories for the AR platform. At SHOT Show 2023, they unveiled a new lineup of AR accessories, including the Magpul ESK Selector. The Magpul ESK Selector is an ambidextrous safety that allows users to easily configure it to their needs and preferences. There are three lengths of polymer selector switches, black or red inserts for easy fire/safe identification, and 60 or 90-degree options on the selector shaft. They also include a safety spring and detent.
Magpul claims that swapping the switches is “toolless,” but you will need a small punch to depress the detent that holds them in place. But that is simpler than some of the ambidextrous safeties out there. The Magpul ESK Selector is only available in Black and FDE and retails for around $50. Like all Magpul products, it is Made In The USA.
